Terms of use
Awaiting legal review
The text is written and describes accurately what the app does. Two things are still missing before it stands as final: the publisher's full legal identity, flagged in the first section, and a lawyer's read (GDPR and Law 18-07 as amended by Law 25-11).

What the app does
MASSFORGE is a training and nutrition app. It writes you a lifting programme that progresses with you, works out what you should eat, records what you do, and shows you where you stand. It runs in the browser, installs to the home screen, and keeps working when the network drops.
It is not a coach, not a doctor, and not a medical device. The section on training and health says what that means, and it is the most important section on this page.
These terms are the contract between you and the publisher of MASSFORGE. Creating an account means accepting them. If you do not agree, do not create one.
Your account
You must be sixteen or over. Below that, no account and no use: the app records health data, and a child's will not be processed here.
An account belongs to one person. You can open it on as many devices as you like. The list is in Settings and you can sign any of them out. But you do not share it, lend it, or resell it.
You are responsible for your password and your recovery code. The code is shown once and kept only as a hash: nobody, the publisher included, can read it back to you. Lose both and the account cannot be recovered.
Your support ID is not a secret: it is what you send to buy or to ask for help. Do not confuse it with your recovery code, which you send to nobody. The publisher will never ask you for it.
Giving a wrong email address, or somebody else's, means losing access to the account on the day it needs recovering.
Paying
The trial lasts seven days and costs nothing. It starts at your first session, and no later than seven days after you sign up. Nothing to hand over, nothing to cancel. After that, full access is paid for with a licence, in dinars, outside the app: you send your request from the app, you pay using the details in the reply, and the licence switches on for your account.
No card on file, no direct debit, no automatic renewal. Nothing renews by itself: when a licence runs out it stops, and you are warned before it does.
The price and the duration are the ones stated at the time of purchase. A licence is personal, tied to one account, and is not transferable.
Because payment happens outside the app, no card or bank detail is ever seen or stored. What is recorded is the plan, the date, and the amount actually received.
Refunds: if the app does not do what was stated and the problem cannot be fixed, write within fourteen days of purchase to bonjour@massforge.fit and the licence is refunded. After that, or where the service worked, there is no pro-rata refund. If you buy from the European Union, you also have fourteen days to withdraw, without giving a reason.
If you are a coach, you pay for seats, and the athletes you cover pay the publisher nothing. What you charge them is your business alone: the publisher is never a party to that agreement and never touches that money. Stop paying for your seats and your athletes lose the cover, but not their account and not their data.
Training and health
Read this once, properly. MASSFORGE is not a health professional. The programme, the loads, the calories and the macros are calculations run on the numbers you typed in yourself. They are not a diagnosis, not a prescription, not medical advice, and they replace nobody.
Lifting carries a risk of injury, and you train under your own responsibility alone. Talk to a doctor before you start. Without hesitating if you have a heart condition, an injury, a chronic illness, if you are pregnant, if you are on medication, or if you are coming back after a long break.
Stop and seek help for chest pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness, faintness, or sharp joint pain. No set is worth that.
The nutrition maths is an estimate. It does not suit a minor, a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, anyone who has or has had an eating disorder, or anyone on a medically prescribed diet. In those situations a professional decides, not an app.
The app does not detect injuries, monitors nothing, and calls nobody. In an emergency, call the emergency services.
Coaches
A coach is a user like any other, who took seats and invited athletes. The publisher does not employ him, does not train him, does not certify his qualifications, and does not guarantee what he tells you.
A coaching link only forms with the athlete's agreement. It gives the coach sight of your training profile, your sessions, your loads and your records, and the right to adjust your programme. It never gives access to your progress photos, your email address, your support ID, or your recovery code.
The athlete cuts the link whenever they want, from the app, without telling anyone. The coach's access ends at the same moment.
What happens between a coach and an athlete is settled between them: the price, the method, the results, the disagreements. The publisher is not a party to that agreement.
A coach listed in the directory is a coach the publisher has checked exists and can be reached. It is not a mark of competence.
A coach who uses the app to prospect, to harass, or to hold data on people who did not agree to it loses his seats and his account.
Use
You do not share your account, you do not resell it, and you do not resell access to the app.
You do not try to reach somebody else's data, bypass authentication, replay requests, overload the service, automate its use, or extract its content in bulk.
The programme, the exercise catalogue, the text, the illustrations and the code belong to the publisher. You have the right to use them to train. You do not have the right to republish them, resell them, or build a product out of them.
What you write yourself stays yours: your sessions, your foods, your notes. You grant only the right to store it and show it back to you, which is the condition for the app working at all.
You do not put into the app, and above all not into the fields other people see, content that is illegal, hateful or sexual, or content about somebody else without their agreement. The photos you upload are your own.
Breaking this section can lead to suspension or closure of the account, with no refund where the abuse is established.
Ending it
You can leave whenever you want. Settings, delete the account: everything is erased, immediately and permanently. Export first if you want to keep your data. Afterwards it is gone, including for the publisher.
Not paying does not close your account. An expired licence narrows what you see; it erases nothing, and everything comes back if you take a licence again.
The publisher can close an account for a serious breach of these terms, payment fraud, or use that puts the service or other users at risk. Except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise, you are told by email and given time to export your data.
If the app were ever to shut down, you would be told at least thirty days in advance, with time to export, and licences still running would be refunded pro rata.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. It is kept standing seriously, but there is no promise that it will be available without interruption or free of error, nor that your results will be the ones you hoped for: a training result depends on what you do, what you eat and how you sleep, not on software.
The publisher is not responsible for training injuries, for the food choices you make, for what a coach tells you, for data lost because you lost your own credentials, or for outages in the networks and third-party services the app depends on.
So far as the law allows, the publisher's liability to you, on any ground whatsoever, does not exceed what you paid over the preceding twelve months.
Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot be excluded: fraud, gross negligence, personal injury caused by the publisher's fault, and the rights the law gives consumers all remain intact.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts where you live, and your own country's law protects you in everything it makes mandatory. Users in Algeria keep the benefit of Algerian consumer law and of Law 18-07.
Before any court, write to bonjour@massforge.fit. Most disagreements are settled in one message.
If a clause of these terms is held invalid, the rest stay in force.
The French version prevails. The English version is a courtesy translation.
